Jasmine spent her childhood in Virginia, training for many years at The Virginia Ballet Theatre under the significant influence of Pat Sorell. She continued her dance training with prestigious teachers, including Sandra Balestracci, Rachel Hamrick, Madame Adrienne Dallas, Irene Hogarth Cimino, and Zelma Bustillo. Madame Dallas even choreographed a unique ballet showcasing Jasmine’s abilities.

At 15, Jasmine participated in The Joffrey Ballet’s trainee program. She performed in The William & Mary presentation of “The Nutcracker” for several years and alongside Travis Wall, Adrienne Canterna, and Melanie Hamrick. Jasmine also performed with Ballet Hispanico in NYC. She graduated from James Madison University (JMU) as a centennial scholar with majors in Theatre & Dance, Spanish, and a minor in Medical Spanish. At JMU, she was a member and company choreographer for The Contemporary Dance Ensemble.

Jasmine has performed professionally at Busch Gardens Theme Parks and in various shows and videos. She founded Libre Dance USA in 2018, which has been featured in the Latin music festival and the Virginian Pilot.

Her teaching philosophy: “It is not just the movement but the passion behind the movement that creates its beauty.” Jasmine’s love for dance has kept her teaching for the past 15 years. She has been a Ballet Director and Competitive Coach, with her choreography winning high scores and overalls at competitions.

Jasmine teaches at a nearby high school, is married, and has two young children.
