Dress Code

Tiny Stars

  • Ballet: All pink everything – pink ballet shoes, leotard, tights, and optional skirt or tutu. Skirt/tutu may be attached. Hair pulled back, preferably in a bun.
  • Tap: Black Mary-Jane tap shoes, same attire as ballet.
  • Acro minis: Unitard or leotard, no tights, no shoes. May wear shorts
  • Hip hop Minis: Solid color unitard or leotard, no tights, tan jazz shoes.

Intro Ballet

  • Girls: Solid color leotard(solid color ballet skirt permitted), tights in tan/flesh-tone or pink.
  • Hair must be in a bun.
  • Ballet: Ballet shoes in pink or tan/flesh-tone.

Ballet I & Company Ballet

  • Girls: Black leotard(solid color ballet skirt permitted), tights in tan/flesh-tone or pink.
  • Hair must be in a bun.
  • Ballet: Ballet shoes in pink or tan/flesh-tone.

Acro

  • Girls: Matching dance sports bra and top
  • Form-fitting dance shorts are permitted, tights, convertible & tan/flesh-tone or pink.
  • Hair may be in a ponytail & braids permitted and secured back.

Boys:

Acro & Ballet: White T-shirt & Black leggings or joggers

Note: Shorts are permitted in the Summer & Spring Seasons

  • Footwear
    • Black ballet shoes for balleT
    • No shoes for acro
  • Latin Dance: All black attire, Black shirt, Black joggers or dance pants
  • Black Latin lace up shoe.
  • Hip Hop: Libre T-shirt or solid color T-shirt, Black joggers or dance pants, black sneakers(not worn outside) or jazz shoes

Tap, Jazz, Contemporary

  • Girls: Solid color leotard, tights, leggings, or form-fitting shorts.
  • Jazz: Tan/ flesh-tone jazz shoes.
  • Tap: Black lace-up tap shoes.
  • Acro-Contemporary: Tan/ flesh-tone jazz shoes.
  • Contemporary: Tan/flesh- tone turning shoes.
  • Latin Rhythms: White short-sleeve leotard, tan/flesh-tone tights, red flamenco skirt, and tan/flesh-tone character shoes.

Hip-Hop

  • Studio t-shirt, leotard, leggings, black dance pants
  • Clean bottom black sneakers or black jazz shoes (that are only worn in class and not outdoors)

Note:

  • Students who identify as gender non-conforming may choose the dress code they are most comfortable with.
